Demon Tower Guide!

Overview

The Demon Tower is a TEAM DUNGEON for level 58+ characters.

Rewards from the DT are "Strategy Items" that are used to upgrade and boost the stats in the strategy window: Stratagem Shards and Military Text.

Each character can enter the DT 5 times per week, and only with a full team. The leader then talks to the Tower Watcher (Located in the Main City, between the safe zone and the Quartermaster NPC).

Each run of the DT dungeon is composed of 5 challenges, each picked randomly from nine possible.

When a team member dies, the player has to wait for the rest of the team to complete that stage before he/she can revive. If all players in the team has died, the team failed the Dungeon.

Difficulty

The DT has three difficulty settings: Normal, Hard and Expert.

There are more rewards as the difficulty increases, but the monster spawns hit harder, and have more HP. The following are my CP recommendations for the difficulty levels:

  • Normal: 600K - 850K CP
  • Hard: 750K - 1.1M CP
  • Expert: 950K + CP

It is best that each of the team members know exactly what to do and what to expect in the dungeon, so tell anyone who hasn't tried all the challenges to go to this guide and read up first!

If all members know what to do, even a relatively low CP team can complete the EXPERT difficulty, but of course, with some challenge.

Team Composition

Unlike other team dungeons, a team that wants to challenge the DT is almost required to have both MATK and PATK characters, at least one of each type. This is because in one of the challenges, the ATK type is essential to passing the stage. Without the correct ATK type, the team will simply run out of time!

Make sure the team agrees on what difficulty is to be challenged before starting.

The Nine Challenges

(Click on the videos or titles to see my team perform a successful run of the challenge.)

For this challenge, you need to stand inside the correct circle in order to receive less damage from the monster spawn. The correct order or circles is RED - BLUE - RED - BLUE - RED - BLUE.

Just kill all the monsters. This is a good gauge of how fit your team is in the difficulty selected.

In my opinion the coolest challenge. You will be facing an exact clone of your team, with each character facing his / her own clone. Always kill your clone first, and do not run. Stay in place until you kill your clone, then help the other team members kill their clones.

This is basically a free round. The monsters do not attack, and the team has to kill all of them.

The Tower Watcher NPC will appear and run in a counter clockwise direction, stopping at each side of the stage, at which point the monsters will spawn.

Focus killing the monsters that spawn in the middle of the circle only. The Small Wolf Spawns will appear on the sides. killing these will only cause more wolves to spawn, so kill the monsters that spawn in the middle first.

Several waves of unrest will charge at your team, but this time an Explosive Unrest will spawn in the middle of the circle. After 10 seconds, this Explosive Unrest will explode and damage you to around HALF HP. Make sure your team kills the Explosive Unrest as soon as they appear.

These bears are tricky: The BIG BEAR is weak to MATK, while the SMALL BEAR is weak to PATK. Hitting either bear with the wrong attack type will HEAL THEM. So lure the bears away from each other with the correct character type, and kill separately. The healing effect will be gone once one of the bears is dead, so the whole team can help out with killing the surviving bear.

This challenge is the reason why DT teams have to be balanced in having MATK and PATK.

In this stage, each team member has a Weight Value above their heads. The goal is to make the correct team members stand in the circle so that the SUM of their WEIGHTS is EQUAL to the WEIGHT SHOWN IN THE CIRCLE.

Loong Craft Stone Maze Guide

Stone Maze Pattern From UJoy Official FB Page

  • One run of the stone maze except Yin Yang is a series of Four Tasks, and then the Boss Vajra

  • Follow the instructions of the TASK of each Level.

  • After finishing the task of the level, the two gates will have either the RED BANNERS AND LIGHTING at the back, or BLUE LIGHTING WITH NO BANNERS.

  • In the pattern, the CHECK MARKS means go to the BANNERS the CROSS MARKS means go to the NO BANNER.

  • Finish the maze in the pattern of what you want to get, to get the "VAJRA-REAL" to spawn. Killing the beast will make a RANDOM SPAWN of the PRIEST.

  • You will only unlock the Maze section if you kill the PRIEST.

  • If when you have unlocked all sections, enter the maze again to UNLOCK YIN-YANG, which is just killing one boss.

Increasing your CP

Increasing your CP is the goal towards which all your efforts in the game is made. All improvements made to your character will increase your CP by varying degrees. These improvements can be direct and obvious, but some can be missed by new players. If you are someone who wants to maximize the CP of your character, you need to take all the chances you can get!

So here I will list down all the ways you can increase your CP, while the details will be discussed in their own posts.

Of course, you can also find most of this in the "Boost CP" button in the upper area of your game screen. I recommend you read more there as well.

  1. Level Up
    • Leveling up is the first way to boost your CP. Everytime you level up, you will gain a boost to your basic stats, which will increase your CP. Note that in Loong Craft, you don't get to choose which stats you increase like in most other RPGs.
    • Consider leveling up as a side effect of everything else you are doing: merely having a high level will not make your CP high.
  2. Equipment Upgrades
    • Every time you level up, you get to wear (at low levels) or later upgrade and promote the equipment you are using. Equipment in this sense is your HELMET, BELT, LEGGINGS, BOOTS, NECKLACE, and RING.
    • Wearing your equipment gives you added stats, and upgrading these will increase the stats they give, raising your CP.
    • Your equipment will level with you. Upgrading costs silver and is 100% success rate.
    • Your equipment will also increase in quality: there will come a time where you need to PROMOTE your equipment, which needs the right quality of ORES and LEATHERS.
    • PROMOTING your equipment adds ONE SOCKET to that piece of equipment every time.
  3. Equipment Sockets
    • As you promote your equipment and get sockets, you will be able to put GEMS inside the sockets. The different gems give you stats, specific to the gem.
    • Equipment sockets only accept one kind of gem depending on the socket.
    • You can combine THREE of each gem of the same level to make one of the next level gem.
  4. Boost Relics
    • Your weapon and armor, or RELICS, can be boosted using boost stones.
    • There are three boost categories: STAR, MOON, and SUN.
    • STAR boost level is 1-12, using Lv 1 Boost Stone
    • MOON boost level is 13-24 using Lv 2 Boost Stone
    • SUN boost level is 25+ using Lv3 Boost Stone
    • As you go higher in your boost level, the boost chance will decrease.
    • A failed boost will result in a one boost level reduction.
    • Safety Charms, same level as Stone, are used to ensure the boost level will not be reduced when boost fails.
    • A relic's boost level can be directly transferred to another relic of the same type.
  5. Refine Relic
    • Other than their base stats, Relics will also have ADDITIONAL STATS, from none to 5.
    • Refine Stones are used to get a new set of additional stats.
    • A relic's refines can be directly transferred to another relic of the same type and number of additional stats.
  6. Skills Upgrade
    • You will learn skills as you level up. The last skill is learned at around level 20.
    • You pay with silver to upgrade your skills in the skills window, when you get to the correct level.
    • At around level 50, you will also be required to buy SKILL BOOKS to upgrade to the next skill level. Skill books are bought in the ARENA SHOP, using Arena Credits.
  7. Ultimates
    • Skill ultimates are unlocked at around level 40, when you qualify for the ARENA.
    • Ultimates modify your skills to enhance your character's attack.
    • Each skill has THREE ULTS, which has to be bought using Arena Credits, just like the skill books.
  8. Titles
    • Titles are given by being acquiring title-rewarding ACHIEVEMENTS in the game.
    • You can see each achievement to see the requirement, as well as what title is rewarded.
    • Titles can also be exchanged from certain items through the EUNUCH in the Main City.
    • I recommend saving up the title items to buy the best titles you can first, not spending them for anything else.
    • Titles have two effects: Active and Passive.
      • The ACTIVE effect will be added to your character as long as the title is the one that is being equipped at the time.
      • The PASSIVE effect is given to you as long as you have acquired that title, regardless of whether it is the one equipped.
    • Some titles are only temporary while most are permanent. Temporary titles will be gone when you do not have that title anymore.
  9. Activated Cards
    • Activated cards and card combos will give you their stated stat bonus.
    • Each new card you get will require you to activate that card initially. Once you have activated that single card, all combos with all other activated cards will be shown in the card lists.
    • I recommend activating the card combos that increases your ELEMENT first, as this will give you the biggest CP boost.
    • Cards for ACT 1 - 6 can be obtained from the ORDEAL task, the BANK, and in the "BUY" tab of the card window. Cards are bought using card tokens.
    • There is an item in the MALL that gives you a chance to obtain cards or tokens. The cards from this item is used in the ACT 7 card list.
    • Card tokens are given as bonus in the ORDEAL task, and is also given as a drop in the STONE MAZE, or randomly in the MALL.
  10. Mount Upgrade
    • Your mount gives you bonus stats, which increases as it levels up by giving it fodder.
    • Your mount can only be leveled up to your level.
    • Aside from the default horse, there are other mounts in game, which give better stats than the horse.
  11. Tame / Horse Tacks
    • Your mount can be equipped with "Horse Tacks" starting at level 45, with one additional horse tack available every 5 levels after until level 70.
    • Each horse tack has base stats and 3 additional stats.
    • The tacks' additional stats can be modified through the tame function, which selects one of the three stats out of an unequipped tack and equips it into the tack that is in use.
  12. Wings Upgrade
    • Your wings gives additional stats too, using plumes to upgrade.
    • The number of plumes per upgrade point increases as the wing's quality increases.
    • I recommend using the wings upgrade for PDEF and MDEF only, as this gives the best CP.
    • Wing morphs also increase your CP with their stats. Note that the stats of all your morphs are active regardless of which wing design is in use.
  13. Talent
    • Using wit fruits, talent gives both ATK and DEF stat bonus.
    • The talent upgrades are linear, and all upgrades are guaranteed to succeed.
  14. Strategy
    • Strategy is taken from the Demon Tower Dungeon, giving specific stat bonus using shards.
    • There are six shard types corresponding to differing "Stratagems", with differing stats given by each.
    • Each successful run of the Demon Tower rewards a random amount of different shards, with more difficult runs giving more shards. The base stat of each stratagem is upgraded by reaching the number of shards required.
    • Boosting the stratagems gives a percentage increase on the boosted stratagem.
    • Strategy boost uses "Military Classic" item, which is fused from rewards also obtained from the Demon Tower.
  15. Stone Maze
    • The Stone Maze will add a permanent stat bonus when you complete each section.
    • The guide is available in the UJoy Loong Craft FB page.
    • The Stone Maze also has great items in its challenges, such as plumes, fodder and card tokens.
Those were the 15 main ways you can increase your CP. What topics do you want to be discussed next? Comment below!
